2 of them. what size enclosure/tuning/port area. Goin in an expedition with the max of 24 height 48 width and 35 depth. Sub up port back?

Subs up ports back... looking like

24"H X 48"W X 30.5"D . Port along the bottom 5" X 46.5" X 19" long. Nets you 14 cuft tuned to 33Hz with approx 230sqin of port. I am assuming that 35" doesnt quite get you to the back of the hatch... if it does, then Id have to change things a little. This will load off the hatch and drop the tuning a little lower than 33Hz as well.

42 deep is the max i can go and when i do this is how far it comes http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/9800/pa160002vg7.jpg I wanna keep it away from the back hatch a bit so i have some places for my batts :D

i really stink at box planning lol. what parts should i double baffle? I was gonna do the top and use some steel rods to brace

Scott if i build the box like you said the subs will be on the top but where should i place them in the center, at the back, the front where would be the best place?
