whats the difference between the top mounting depth and bottom mounting depth.... of a speaker....the top is from where to where....the bottom is from where to where....????
I didn't realize there was a TOP and BOTTOM mounting depth. I though there was just a mounting depth? The mounting depth is how far the magnet will stick out after you mount the speaker.
top mounting depth is the depth of the sub when it's mounted on the box normally and from what was explained to me before is bottom mounting depth is the depth of the sub when it's mounted flushed in a box.
top mounting depth is if you mount the sub flush with the outside of the box.. bottom mounting depth is when you mount the sub to the inside of the baffle.
The mounting depth is how far the magnet will stick out after you mount the speaker.
