how many watts do you need? and at what ohm? if not sure, what subs are you running? im not sure, but i think that amp can be bought for cheaper maybe on ebay or other car audio forums... that is an awesome amp though...

Ok well right now i dont have subs that would work good with the ph5000.. i only have 2 12" polk momos 800 watts peak but im definitely not planning on keeping them im wanting to go big.. so thats why im looking for a nice big amp.. i dont know what THD or SPL is.. sorry not 2 good with abreviations.. so is there anything better than the ph5000 that i could find for $500?

THD is the total harmonic distortion. tipically you want an amp with low THD. for subs a class D amp with under 10% THD is good.

the dude dont even know what spl means, i think an earthquake amp will be fine in his case. spl is sound pressure level, its measured in decibles. if you plan to buy that amp ask him to take less. you can get the same quality or better for less probably.
