any suggestion on an amp that will give my 15" Q's about 1200 rms each?? i dont want to chance anything with the zx2500.1 kicker amp. they are dual 2 ohm subs by the way.

yeah the Qs should be fine with 1400 anyway, just listen to them and dont go nuts, also like opti said adjust the gain accordingly

no i dont have the kx2500.1. I messed up my car and had to pay alot of money so i had to cancel my bid. but anyways when i set the gain can i jsut use one of my cds or do i have to use the test tones. and do i just stop turning the gain when the the song starts to distort??? thanks for all the help.

get a DMM, but a guy here called troy stafford sets the gain wit music but i don't recommend that
