you can get 2 12" assasins ( www.ascendantaudio.com ) for 190 plus shipping and im sure they would be way louder...

never heard 1 but according 2 a installer i was talking to recently he said CV vmax is quite SQL good as say alpine Rs ...

they are nice. i have heard one. they are loud and Sound good. like a CVR with better SQ.:-)

what do you mean, SURE?!?!?

I swear to God, once, Glasswolf was talking about his old school vega's and then went on to say that the new vega's build quality isn't what it used to be... then he said alpine r's were the best for the $ - IF that's where your budget was at!!!!!!

i would take a Vega over an Alpine all day. they are nice. they certainly aren't kicker:-)

They are great speakers. i've never heard the newer vmax though..i can say the older 10 inch ones get loud and sound good doing it.
