just a quick question...does a 1 ohm load draw more power than a 4 ohm load?

okay if a 1ohm load draws 1krms and 4 ohms pulls 1 krms then technically speaking the 4 ohm one would b drawing more just because they like to run them at low impedances to keep current down thats why u dont see anything with high impedances and why its so expensive to get a amp that puts out 4krms apposed to a a amp that puts out 4krmsat 1 ohm

ok i had a 2 amps....one mono amp at 900 watts rms @ 1ohm and another amp 2 channel at 880 watts rms @ 4 ohm bridged....just wandered if one would draw more power than the other
