i have a kicker l7 12inch right now but i want something a bit better maybe another sub would do the trick
but also my trunk rattles and its getting more rattling than before do i need to apply dynamat or do i have loosen screws? or both?

Arslan, if you want to buy a COMPLETE system, please believe that you are going to be spending at least a grand if you want decent stuff.

Just a sketchup figure:

HU: 200
front comps: 150 (being generous, good ones will cost much more)
rear fill: 50
sub:200
box: 50
sub amp: 200-300
4 channel speaker amp: 150
wiring kit: 50

=

at least 1,100

Just be prepared, this isn't a cheap hobby!

Isaac....while your estimate is probably pretty good, one thing....take out the rear fill....haven't you been on here long enough to know that rear fill is unnecessary?

i was gonna say something about that rear fill but i decided not to cause the price was so low on it that i didnt think it mattered much in the guys decision process.

lol alright this is exactly what i have right now
HU Pioneer 4800mp
AMP KENWOOD KAC-? 600 WATT (375RMS am i underpowering the sub?)
Sub Kicker L7 12 INCH ported box

So i alrdy have some of the things for a good sounding system
i alrdy have amps laying around home for my highs so that shouldnt be a problem for me and i can also get 0 gauge wiring as a freebie so the wiring i am using right now can for the amp for the highs
basically i need some good comps for front and something for the back and my guess is dynamat so bass sounds good
right now bass sounds nasty trunk really rattles a lot on my eclipse (which i am selling so i wont be adding anytyhing to this waiting for nex car which is prob a maxima or honda)

i am willing to spend couple more hundred bux i basicaly need speakrs and an upgraded amp for sub

i also need to know if this is a good deal that i am getting:
lazar 7inch dvd player for $200 i am not sure of the model number but u think its worth it for the price my guess is its great for that price but i want others input in this as well

thanks a lot guys i appreciate this
also would u be specific on the speakers and amp by the model number so i know which 1 would match really good with my sub

thanks again

Wolfman, ofcourse I know that rear fill is unessisary. I was just inluding the rear speakers in the estimate becuase that is what he said he wanted in his original post. Besides some people like rear fill. I don't mind it myself. Plus rear fill is good for your passengers in the back. Just my opinion though. Unecessary yes, acceptable... ABSOLUTELY!

boxes made for you by a shop get expensive. i got quotes from 200-300 for my box. i ended up making my own for $30.
that box tho was just a regular box, i couldnt tell you how much for a fiberglass with neon lights tho. id guess more than 300, just a guess tho
