i listen at a moderate volume. but during traffic on the freeway when someone cuts me off, i blast it. it usually makes them change lane. after that its moderate volume again.

how high it goes doesn't really matter, neither does how high you listen to it....(no offense to anyone, but i see a lot of volume numbers being thrown around...and they are dismal) what matters is how much power that signal is amplified by when it reaches your amp:-)

i noticed alot of you have hu's with volume that goes way above 40. my hu goes up to 40 but i wish it only went up to 20. when i want to turn it up all of a sudden, i have to turn the volume knob more than i like.

of course with higher volume numbers, you get a wider range on your volume. i'd rather have shorter range but be able to turn it up fast.

Hey Chad, I would change lanes too if I heard a weird Chinese guy behind me bumpin BERLIN, it's not the loudness but the fear you might be a H0M0 :-O Polo..

Depends on my mood, if I am trying to chill after a long day of work, then yaaa it takes a lot of loudness, 50/62 but I will lay off the BB as I will not be able to see straight..

Rick Quigley's ears are gone:-)
He feels so good that he can sit in his car and "take" it LMFAO:-)
If it sounds clean, repeat clean you can listen to a system at 130db and enjoy (only ears start hurting after a while)
I think I can imagine what Mr Quigley's system sounds like:-)

Muddy,
Thank you for pointing out that 20/60, 33/45, 15/33 etc really don't mean sh:t:-)
People, please GET IT - it would be like saying - I usually press my accelerator 1/4, 1/3, 100% or whatever. You have to remember that there is a difference between A FECKING GEO METRO AND A CARRERA:-)
