Is FI Audio the same as RE Audio? Do they both get just as loud? I been wanting to upgrade my system, and if the FI audio will get just as loud i might switch to that from RE. The FI audio is much cheaper.

I'm thinking about selling my two SX12 so i can buy two FI BTL15's. Maybe put both 15's in a 6.5 cubic foot box tuned to 35hz. Would those two 15's be alot louder than the two sx12?

no sh1t. it was a joke.

Fi is good stuff considering the price and who builds the damn things. as for RE, they have a past, which was durable, loud and great sounding subs for a great price. proven. chauncey is saying that they aren't "proven" to him yet i believe, so i was pulling his chain. :-)

Maris, you are right on the money with those sony's. A friend of a friend of a cousin of mine had 1 10" sony and hit 179 db's with the sensor 12 feet away from the car.... incredible subs.

all i gotta say is you guys gotta experience it for yourselves. my btl's are so awesome. now that it is really breaking in, the sq is so much better.

i know i put up some shiddy numbers but give me another chance. i was a virgin then but now i have more experience. i already did some more work on my car and so far by ear, it is louder. lets just hope it got louder on the tl.

well... i'll say this: Fi has better prices and almost the same performance or better. For me, better prices and same performance, i'd go with the cheapest one= FI.

Just MO.

Fi is basically the old RE to me (makes sense huh?). Which means (I'm guessing) they'll be releasing some incredible products in the future. I'd love to see something that competes evenly with the new XXX for a quarter of the price...
