Hi i have pioneer tsw3004spl(1000rms 2ohm) sub I am going to use an amp wich puts out 1700rms 2ohm(boss audio ripper series 3000max). Will my sub handle that power? Is it better to turn down input sensitivity of the amp? Is 4awg cables enough for the amp? I have 140amp fuse short circuit braker if its to much then what size of fuse would i need? What size of cables would i need to wire the sub to the amp?

input sensitivity of the amp should be matched to the HU's pre-out voltage, nothing else. that way you get the cleanest possible signal going to the subs.:-)

i hope u know these subs only seem 2 perform in large ported boxes

i had mine in 3cuft box but sub like it wanted more so yesterday i put mine in a 4cuft box - sounds better but i need 2 tune it a bit higher 4 some more output

don't worry too much about overpowering with that amp, just match your gain with you HU preout voltage. What's HU do you have??

Rovin i didn't know you're using pioneer subs right now, i thought you were using FI
