Silver Member Username: Nyyfan13VA USA Post Number: 636 Registered: Jul-06 | well, it turns out my car was in accident before we bought it and the people never told us. with this being said, we mite be selling my car now. i will have just about $18000 for a new used car. more bad news is that now i wont be able to install my system for another couple weeks to months until the new car. ive got it narrowed down to a couple cars. Evo (top of my list, gonna have to work my parents for more money tho) WRX tC (again) RSX tpye-s GTI any one got comments or suggestions? |

Silver Member Username: Nyyfan13VA USA Post Number: 639 Registered: Jul-06 | jen, the girls are already mine,haha but yea the car's front side passenger wheel well has always looked jacked up if u look at it closely but not if your just checking the car out. and as of lately, the car has been "acting up" and hasnt been driving like it used to and it only has abuot 24,000 miles on it. and there are some electrical problems with it so i dunno whats going on. i gotta talk with my parents about what we are doing. i figure i got abuot $18,000 cause A) they trust me a whole lot, B) tc will sell for about $15,000 C) im graduating this year form high school, D) Christmas is coming which i always get about $1000 form my parents a year. E) im turing 18 this spring. F) doing well in school and finally G)they know i will respect my car and they trust me driving and know that i wont just trash my car. im pissed tho cause today was supposed to be the big install day, glad we didnt tho if i gotta get rid of it |

I have a buddy that has a WRX (not STI) and put a little cash into it (give or take 4 grand or so) and now he can smoke any STI out there. If power and speed are what you are looking for taht is. You can get a base WRX for a good price and there are so many mods out there. That would be my choice. |

Silver Member Username: Nyyfan13VA USA Post Number: 647 Registered: Jul-06 | believe me rovin, i have earned the right from my parents to get a car like that. and believe me, i am VERY thankful for what i have and for what i could have if need be. as for gas, my tC gets good gas mileage imo and in their opinion, so chances are, the cars mentioned above will get just as good if not better mileage. while they pay for some gas, car, etc; anything "extra" i want in it, i have to use my money for, so they dont pay for everything, just most of it. and they said, if i want a car which is more than 18000, i must pay them back by the end of college. good deal imo |

Silver Member Username: Nyyfan13VA USA Post Number: 677 Registered: Jul-06 | i thuoght it was ilegal to, but my dad keeps telling me its legal and not their fault. we looked at a carfax report and it wasnt listed but it definitly was in a crash cuase u can tell by looking at it. u can see where it was repainted (good job) and where they got hit. its not noticable to someone walking by or looking at it, just when u actually get up close. |
