Subs dont work but did before

the subs in my car have been working before and then one day they just quit to where when id hit a bump they would play for a few seconds and now they dont even play at all. any help?

Is the amp powering up? Are they conected to the amp? Did a wire come loose in the sub box? Are the rca cables plugged in the back of the head unit?

check all your wiring and fuses.

Also, push in on the subs and see if they are making a scratching sound.

ok i checked all the wires there all good even in the box the amp is powering just no sound from the subs. and there is no scratching sound coming from them when i pussh in on them

What about the rca cables in the back of the radio?

the RCA cables are plugged in to the cables that come from the radio

Probably your ground wire on your amplifier. Did you scrape away the paint where you connected? Is there a good connection to the chasis? Did you use the same guage wire as the amplifier power wire?

check the wiring of the subs....one time i wired subs into a new box, and there was wire soldered in the box, so i just spliced my aold speaker wire to it...and didnt tape it off, and i hit a bump and the wires touched and so they stopped playin....check that maybe
