what about them? a friend asked for my opinion, but i really haven't heard them before. Are they good SPL subs, i know pioneer SQ is bad, but he told me he can get them for 60$ the pair with box new.

I need honest opinion, are they good at all? decent SQ or no, bad spl or good?

I had a Pioneer TS-W300R that I got on eBay for $30, and it pounded for the price, definately. It only pounded until the suround ripped, though. I had it overpowered by 30 watts RMS, but I guess that was too much for it.

I'd tell him to buy them for only $60.

The older IMPP's werent really half bad.

Not SPL, not really SQ, just decent daily beaters.

Will now not, or ever, take much over the rated RMS.....if that.

60 isnt a bad deal for having some "bumps".

Something special? Sick loud? Overly impressive? No.
