if you blow so many cvr's, why buy more? why not another sub/brand?

set the gain on 2 volts and turn the bass boost all the way up if its not loud enough and if its still not loud enough ill buy another sub with more power and put it in there with them

well...there is your problem

DONT USE THE BASS BOOST!!!!!!

bass boost is nothing more than a remote woofer cooker.

set the gain CORRECTLY and dont clip your amp...subs/amps will last for years and years if you install them correctly!

i never used bass boost on my other amp i mean now that im using less watts with the zx300.1's i might need a little bass boost. what do you think of either switching to 2 type r's or having 2 cvr's and 1 type r are they louder than cvr's or just better sq. and what if i used 1 cvr and 1 type r how would that sound?

Agreed bass boost is to make fine tuned adjustments not maxed out too distortion....distortion and over excursion is what kills from my experience. I have yet to blow a subwoofer in 16 years of being into car audio. and that includes using the cheapest brands like pyramid phase 3's in my first install (12 dollar 10's LOL)...They are no longer made.

why do they even bother putting features on low-end amps that they know people will abuse?
