soo i hooked up my amp and subs tonight.a hifonic brutus bxi1606D to 2 alpine type r's and all i get is just a lil bit of bass like not even enough to move the subs at all u can just lightly hear it...does anyone know of anything to do or wat it could be

did you set your LPF? if its on HPF that could be a reason.

just check all of your wiring. subs may be wired wrong. bad grounds, etc.
whats the gain set on?

what about the tuning on your Headunit, did you check that as well.

i tried the gain all over im still new at everything not good wit tunning them right o anything so i tried changing the gain around and nothin

yah i have been tuning the headunit as well and i cant find anything im gonna check all the wires again

the subs are probably wired wrong.

that wat i was thinkin too... on the amp there is 2 sets of outputs for speaker wire do i need to use both cause i was told to use only one to wire it one ohm

my brother was having the same problem a couple weeks ago. he had his positive wire running to the negative terminal and negative wire running to the positive terminal, on one sub, inside the box.

haha...yes plug in both rcas...well i mean use i set (which consisted of 2) a white and a red

also the RCAs have nothing to do with you ohm load

soo run + out of amp to + on sub1 the out of +1 to + on sub2 take the + on sub1 one and go to + on the second vc of sub 1 and same wit sub2 and same wit - on sub1 and 2
