can you really dtermine how many db's you'll be hitting by using the equation of:
subs sensitivity + 10log(subs rms)
does this give you a legit number of how many dbs you'll be hitting?
cause ive read over and over again that there is no way to determine cause there are too many factors.
i did it and it said that my SSD will hit only 115 dbs which i figured to be really low, im expecting and hoping about 130-135 from my SSD.
and btw, i got this from another section on this forum and just thought it was interesting and was wondering if it were true.
thanks

that along with cabin loss or box gain.. with 1 SSD in a well built enclosure to specs.. you should be in the 130s easy
