Gold Member Username: StnorrisNot yet decided, IA US Post Number: 1505 Registered: Apr-06 | find out the preout voltage on your cd player. then set your gain to match that voltage. if you spin the gain knob all the way to the right, its lower voltage, and the the left is higher voltage. Try to set it as close to the voltage of your cd player as you. |

Gold Member Username: Alias747MN Post Number: 1503 Registered: Apr-05 | At least you don't have an Xtant amp, it's real tough when you have a range from 200mv-17v... 8| |
Gold Member Username: StnorrisNot yet decided, IA US Post Number: 1512 Registered: Apr-06 | no, its the rms you are running, multiplied by the ohm load. if your running 1000rms @ 2 ohms, it will be 44.72 (sqrt of 2000). |
Gold Member Username: FrkkevinResonant Engineering SXFort Worth, ... Post Number: 1421 Registered: Nov-05 | is it? if so i stand corrected but if he was running at 1ohm what i said would work .. lol |
Gold Member Username: StnorrisNot yet decided, IA US Post Number: 1515 Registered: Apr-06 | ya true that would have worked. im just sayin for anyone else. |
Silver Member Username: RvlacosEl Paso, T.X. United States Post Number: 242 Registered: Sep-06 | so what does that have to do with the hu voltage i thought it was suppose to match it to that? |
Gold Member Username: StnorrisNot yet decided, IA US Post Number: 1518 Registered: Apr-06 | setting it with a dmm is just anotehr way to do it. your matching them perfectly with a dmm, instead of estimating. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 2154 Registered: Feb-06 | and james, that hu does have 2v preouts. |
Silver Member Username: Mygame5982H-TOWN, TEXAS US Post Number: 693 Registered: Jan-06 | okay so having it half way is correct?? BEcause it KNOCKS HARD...window flexes, seats move, side of car flexes, mirror falls and everything.. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 2155 Registered: Feb-06 | get a dmm. there only $10-20 and you can get them about anywhere, sears, radioshack, lowes, etc. |
