Its going in a Honda Civic so I don't feel like building the box in the car lol.

Thanks,

For one it won't fit in your trunk.. and secondly there is way too much port there :-) ...

Can you show me a good one then? lol I cant get it... Scott from Fi recommends 3.5cu. ft tuned to 30hz... Obviously I cant do 3.5 cubes so I'm in a predicament.

All input will be helpful..

Thanks
Drew

yea, theres too much port area there... that gives you 74 squre inches of port, you would want around 50 square inches of port. so you need to mplay around with those dimentions so that the port area goes down, and that the exterior dimentions wil work wih our car

this is better:

http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported-box.asp?Ew=33.5&Eh=16&Dia=9&Xmax=24&V d=.19&NumW=1&Vb=3&Fb=28&Qts=&Vas=&Fs=&CE=0

or just have it in a sealed box, or have FI design you one..

yea, dont do that^^^ you want the exmax really close to what its really supposed to be. changing it from 27 to 2.7 is a HUGE diff

After you calculate the box and everything, when it shows you the deminsions on the side... Is the height they show you the internal hieght of the box? It says 14.5" and I put in 16" for the external box height. Still need more suggestions lol, I'm struggling with this thing.

you need to look where it says EXTERIOR DIMENTIONS: on the left side, under the port area and such

then on the right side it gives you the color of the peice, and the width and height

4.6 cubes NET is too small for 2 15 ssd's.

i think they rec 3-4 cubes per ssd. so i would go 3 at the smallest
