yesterday i was bumping my system with my buddy in the car. while we were driving down the street, he told me turn it up so he can hear what my subs can do. next thing i know, the alarms started going off on the cars parked on the street. one by one it was going off as i got near.

after about 1 minute my friend told me he had enough. then for the rest of the day he started complaining about how he wants to throw up.

i have 2 fully loaded BTL 15s on 5000wrms.

btw....the sq isn't bad at all. its actually good. it hits real lowwwwwwww.

yes u can feel ill if ur not accustomed 2 a certain level of loudness

i myself used 2 feel a bit fuzzy in the head (like when u have a headcold) but now i am more tolerant of it . Doesnt mean ur losing ur hearing but u can handle it safely 4 a short while which is the safe/sensible thing 2 do .......

Well I'd only be putting a hifonics bxi 1500 on either the pair of ssds or the 1 Q, i dont have a desire to hit like 150 decibels, my treo is loud enough i just want something new.

personally id never get anything bigger then a 15. for that amount of power would probly be perfect for a Q though.

they suck up ported box space. i think the 15 uses almost half as much airspace as the 18....that is the single biggest complaint about their 18's that i have seen. lol

How big of a difference do you think would be between the 15 and 18? Same wattage and recommended space for each. The 18 must hit sick lows...

The SSD, BTL, and Q are FI caraudio subs.

Loud vehicles are always fun...i got a chance to play mic monkey for a friend doing 156's bout 2 weeks go. It was the first time in about 6months that i had got a chance to sit in a 153dB+ car. I had to sit in the passenger seat to take up alil space while he ran the podium.

3 DD9515e's and a DD Z1 in an ext cab mazda truck :-)
