Sq or Spl or SQL? anyone know where to get one and for how much? I read that its 800 watts RMS 1600 peak but another site said 1600 RMS 3200 peak anyone know? 2 ohm or 4 ohm? im sure Muddy Waters can clear up some of these questions. would 800-1000 watts be enough for them?

For Them ????

U ment pair ?

@ the first 3500 series are SQL subs . and its 1200 RMS ..

And 1000w RMS would be Good , But it can handle more than 2000w ..

But make sure u make a good ported box for it .

U can find more info's from www.ddaudio.com

And about from where u can get one , They do n't sell online , So find your nearest dealer .

and Questions (feel free 2 ask) ..

IF i were going to go sealed with any of their woofers...it would be with the 1000a and 2500a series...all the others perform better in ported box's. the suspensions are desinged to do so.

the 3500 will do good on 500wRMS imo, they are very efficient drivers(check out their 1w/1m readings) and will get loud on not a lot of watts, but the closer you get to optimal RMS rating and beyond, the louder they get.:-)

Muddy hit it on the head. 500-1000-2000 series subs are the only subs that you would want to do sealed. But if you do go sealed, you will need 1.25-1.5 sealed.

muddy, i would definatly do more power on a 3500, i powered mine with 400rms (not far from 500) and i didnt like. the sq wasnt there and the spl wasnt either. 800 is probly the absolute least i would run them. the 2500 would probly do good with 500 though but like you said the more the louder and clearer they get
