maybe changing plans as far as $$ willing to spend, so again, what is best SQL for under $350ish.. and best SQL period for 12"s

Logan you've heard those subs?I would look into Diamond subs,I heard they have great SQ but I don't think they get that loud.Still,look into Diamond.

Oh nice :-) I didn't know if anyone had those yet,they are still fairly new.What kind of box are you running logan,ported?Paul,you're going to want to run a sealed box for better SQ but you want SQL so...you may have to go ported.Personally, I would go sealed with an SQL sub.

also how much room? sealed or ported? how much power do you want to run? are you upgrading your alternator?

Diamonds get plenty loud and have excellent SQ. For a like 400$ you can have a D9 15'' on ebay. Or for 400$ you can have 2 D6 15'' on ebay.
