hey chad, is that speaker super stiff when you press down on the cone? i only ask because steve repaired a crystal compx 15 and pretty much made it totally different he even switched out the 4 leg basket and got the nice btl basket for him it looks like, but its got a plain black dust cover. but he used the same hard Ass spiders and they are hard as a rock and the subs suspension is very tight, but i assume the sound quality should be pretty good with such a hard suspension...

the box is tuned to 36hz. phil came up with the design and he is building it. i have faith in phil so i know it will sound awesome.

rovin....i haven't tried it with the subs forward and the port up so who knows how its going to come out. lol.

tremor1127.....you know what, i haven't even pushed down on the sub yet. i got it when i was at work so i took it out real quick to take pics. i had to put it away fast cause it was a busy day at work. the sub is at my work right now so i don't have it in front of me.

If you ever get the chance to cook with a WOK, its the best. Fire, flipping, tossing. Its just awesome. Friend rice is pretty easy. Its mainly soy sauce, hoisen sauce, sugar, salt, msg, peas and carrots. Not to much salt, sugar, and msg. Use the hoisen sauce and soy saunce until its the color you want. I could go on and on but im boring you =).

Those are BTL's not Q's, you can have as many amps as you want depending on how much power they put out, you would be best off with a custom box, and if you want SPL go ported, or SQ go sealed.

so are the q's good and if i did get one fi'q and one amp i dont know anyone who could make me a custom box.. and what amp would be recomended for on of those suibs and how loud will it get.. i hope louder than my 2 kicker comp vr 10's cuz im only pushin like 500 watts rite now so i hop if i got one of them itll be louder than my kickers cuz there lik 2 years old

The Q is a great sub for the price. Websites that can make boxes are Woodlawncabinetry.com and thecaraudiobox.com but your best off making one on your own. Pretty much any mildly expensive amp putting out from 900-1200wrms would do just fine. It will most definitly be louder than what you have now if you install it properly

lol. all the talk about food is making me hungry. i just got done installing the sub. i bought a prefab box for $40 and put the subs in there. from the dimensions and the length of the ports, this box is tuned a little above 40hz. so the sq kinda sux. anyways this is a spl sub so i don't expect much sq.

i will take care of all the wires showing later. i am too tired to do that right now.

now for the important part. these subs are f**king loud. i can't believe how loud it is. i can't breathe, see, or think when i am bumping. it is insane. i love it.

i can't wait til the box that phil is building gets here. i am sure it will sound better than this pos prefab. anyways i didn't expect too much from a $40 box.

i also took out the rearfill 6 x 9s and now my car sounds alot better. i don't know why i didn't do that before.
