I got bored today, so I decided the green buttons my stereo had to go :P

The second pic was taken with my digital (5.2MP in the dark with flash off, so sorry if it's blurry) and the first was taken awhile back with my cam phone.

It's an Alpine CDE-7856, it doesn't have options like that.. in fact, I haven't seen many that do, and I haven't seen any Alpines that go from green to blue :-)

To be honest, I've never even seen this tone of blue on a head unit before, usually the blue is dark and deep, not light blue and cloudy :P

Anyways, it was fun so I'm going to start picking up head units and customizing the lighting and faces, then reselling them

Alot of high end units have that feature, just haven't seen alot of alpines that do, and the ones that do are generally high end, at least mid level.. this is entry level, CDE series :-)

This stereo includes the following features, just so you understand how low-end it is:

Bass
Treble
Fade
Balance
Bass Center (60/80/100Hz) (Subwoofer Level Control)
1 set of 200mV RMS outputs (2 volt MAX)
Single Line Display
FM/AM Tuner
CD-DA Playback
CD-R/CD-RW/CD+R/CD+RW Playback (No MP3/ No WMA)
