I'm buying 2 12" subs to replace my old Audiobahns that couldn't handle the amp. I just can't make up my mind between the JL W7's or the Kicker L7's. I know JL is a little expensive, but would it be a worthy investment? If it helps, the subs are gona be pushed by a KX1200.1 amp.

Oh yeah, the W7's are def. "worthy". It's just how much dough you're willing to cough out. AWESOME subs I can't guarantee the SPL vs. an L7, but i can guarantee much better SQ, the SPL's are very close.

Around how much would a pair of W7's cost compared to the L7's? I'm going to be starting a job at the end of the month that pays GREAT, so money wont be that big a problem.

12 w7's are $500+ each and the 12 L7's are around $250 each.

W7's are priced according to the woofer size, too. 500+ for the 10" 750+ for the 12" 1000 for the 13". Two 12W7's would be nice on the 1200.1, but the 10's could handle it.

You can get the 12's for $500 - $550 usually on Ebay.
