alright i have 2 arsenal 15' sealed 2.0 cf each hooked up to a jl audio 500/1 amp. ive been wondering the other day what single 15 in a ported box could get louder. any sub will work up to a grand. ive been getting a lot of great offers on my system that i could probably overall make a profit off of or break even. id sell the amps to to get a new one to power the single 15 thanx.

yeah double the power of each sub +6db port each one +6db so roughly an extra 12 db wich is more then twice as loud. so you could do that or just get some new stuff if you can make some good money off what you have

yea i cant port them i dont have enough space in my trunk my trunk is roughly 6 cf and i dont have enough space to port them. thats the reason i went with 2 sealed 15's. i know i could have room for a single 15 ported but idk which one would get louder than what i have.

truthfully if u can break even id say get new ones, cuz i wouldnt put much more power to those subs, chad told me not to put any more than 1000, he said the amp im running is about a perfect match (kx600.1) which puts out like a lil nder 800rms.
