So I decided to go with a 300AMP iraggi alt. I want to keep around 13.5v but no where near 12v at idle and over 14 when driving. I know iraggi offers that external regulator...which I'm not fond of, should I just get the internal regulator?
I don't want my voltage to drop anywhere near 12volts at idle when volume is at like 3/4th's. I want it to be 13.5 and above if thats possible. And would it be more possible with the external regulator or do a lot of people mainly buy an irragi alt with an internal regulator.
dude 300 amps is alot, unless u got like 3000 rms and some tvs or something, i dont see why u would have a problem, but dam a 300 amp alt is extreme lol
ok every time you get an alt that puts out more power at higher rpm it will put out less power at idel. but irragi amputator line puts out more at idle
