I'm planning on building my own box but the size i'm unsure of. I will be installing it in a jeep Wrangler behind the rear seat so i'm constricted on space. I will be installing a 10w6. I have a depth of 9, a length of 33 and a height of about 15.(all measurements in inches) Do i need to use all this space? What dimensions should i build? Should i port or seal? What kinda port if ported?
I would make it fairly big. Dont be afraid of making it too big though. I would PROBABLY do 9in Deep, 20-25in Long and 15in high. Ported or sealed is up to you. Loudness and high volume= port. Deep bass= sealed. If you go ported put in a 3in circle port on the same side that the sub is bolted on to.
