Alright... Here's the deal, i acquired an eclipse aluminum DVC 12" sub... i think its like model SW8122DVC... so anyway, website say's that it'll push 500 rms... so does that mean 500 per voice coil or 500 combined... also, website says "small sealed enclosure is 3.2 cuft vas"... whatever the hell that means... because 3.2 cuft is not a small sealed enclosure in my book... do me a favor and help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated... emailin' me would probably be easier but whatever you wanna do... thanks in advance,
Billy

that sub should work in a box about .7cu ft.
sealed.

that'd be 500w total. 250 per coil
a JL 500/1 would drive it very well

Hey, glasswolf... thanks for the info, but as far as i know the jl 500/1 pushes 500 watts all the way up to 1.5 ohm stable... which means that if you were to bridge the channel, instead of the ohms going down and wattage going up, just the ohm load goes down... correct me if i'm wrong but, i thought that's how it worked...
