Silver Member Username: Mike_16Reedsburg, Wisconsin Us Post Number: 109 Registered: Aug-06 | my dad put this system in my step moms car. he put a audiobahn alum 12, and a legacy 600 watt amp and it worked at first but it shut off like every other min then finnaly it just stayed off for a while ... the r/m wire was cut i half but it was hooked back up and taped ui checked it was all good, but i looked at the gain and it was down so idk why its doin that so give some info plz so i can fix it for her..its not going into protect |

Gold Member Username: James1115Ct Post Number: 6568 Registered: Dec-04 | make sure the subs are wired properly to the amp. I think those subs are dual 6 ohm so make sure the amp is stable at 1.5 ohm because they prob came wired par/par. If the amp is onlt 2 ohms stable(mono) then there is your problem. |
