how do the treo tsx 12's compare with the W6v2's. and how big of a difference is it between the tsx and the tsi. I'm goin for a nice nice clean but kinda loud sound in a sealed box.

the TSX's are kind of a SQL woofer...but more towards getting loud. although with the right install they sound incredible. a buddy of mine won in his class competing in IASCA with 2 12's.

they are very nice drivers and perform well with recommended RMS power or frankly....double. lol

thank you MW, right now i have a 15sx in a ported box and 1000/1. but im lookin to change to a mostly SQ setup. I want to run my 500/1 on either 2 12's or 3 10'2 and have great sq but on the few days i want to hit hard still have the option to strap my 1000/1 to them. Im thinkin TSI or TSX

definitely go with the TSX then.
the TSi's are nice, but the build quality is kind of ehh. lol

and when you start putting the power to them they get sloppy.

i was doin alot of reading in the archives, and B was sayin that the SSI's are SQ subs and would probably sound twice as good as the tsx. is this true and what size would you do with the tsx, two 12's or three 10's

the SSi's are SQ subs.
but they require more power.

so if you can give them more power. then the SSi's are your best bet.

i would also look at some RL-p's.
they are very nice.:-)

i would just go with the two twevles
right now im currently runnin 1 12" treo tsx
at 1200 rms with my jbl gto1201.1 amplifier
and alto u may think tht they have no sq at this much power(3 times reccomended) they have more sq at this power then many subs i have herd....
im guessing the only bro is tht u only have to build two boxes as opposed to 3 boxes for the tens...all in all i would go with the simple 2 12 setup

BTW my boxes are 2.25 cubes tuned to 32hz(3" port width)

3 10's will have slightly more cone area.

but oyu may have a weird ohm load with three 10's.
