Couple more questions actually lol. Whats the driver displacement of a 9515 and what is its Xmax?

not sure. they have a 75mm suspension. but after top plate and bottom plate it is prob closer to 30-40mm.

not sure. Email DD and they will tell you exactly.:-)

I just need it for this box building web site for some reason so does it really matter. Can I just use like 35mm for the Xmax? Also did you know what the displacement was? If not can you just give me an estimate lol.

n/m Im lookin more at somethin like this.

Net Volume: 4 cubic feet
Tuning Frequency: 40 Hz
Port Width: 2 inches
Port Area: 31 Square Inches
Port Length: 8.5 inches

External Dimensions: 37 wide x 17 tall x 15.5 deep.

DD recomends more port area and length http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/enclosureInfo/boxSize_hiEff.asp Does that matter?

i would go with 4 cubes net.
16 sq. inches of port area per cubic foot.
and tune to say 35.:-)

why do i only have 31 square inches when i have a 4ft^3 box. the information i gave about the box was from a dimention calculator that said it was tuned to that frequency. what am i doing wrong?

my friends is 4.5cuft 80 inches of port at 38hz and it kills. if you have the room go huge.
