Is there any difference in sound between the DD9515E, DD9515F, and the older tripple stacked magnets and the newer double stacked? Is one better than the other or do they all sound about the same?

Do you guys think its worth $350 for a DD9515E with tripple stacked magnets and dual 1.5ohm voice coils?

Just slight lol. Is it still slight if I have the Avalanche running with an Orion 250-HCCA compared to the DD9515 running with a Driected 2400D?

DDs site has ported enclosure recommendations on it. Check there. I know they recommend 40hz tuning tho.

wait a second the 9515e is not a triple stacked motor i believe the last triple was the d the e is a double and muddy it is not better it depends on how you look at it look over the dd site some people like the sound the triple maes more the double does have better cooling though and i would guess is more efficient but i have the triple stack and i love it

i wasn't being serious charlie.

any of the motors are very nice.

the double stack ones are newer. and generally, newer is better when it comes to technology and R&D.

either way, it will take tons of power, and souind excellent while doing it.:-)

yeah i went ahead and got the DD9515 and the Directed 2400D both for $650. pretty good deal i thought. right now its in my old 3.3ft^3 box tuned to 27hz haha its so deep. i think when i make a new one for it i'll make it 3.5ft^3 and tune it to about 38hz. sound good?

im tryin to sell it do you want it. it has a small amount of damage on 2 corners but i never carpeted it so you could just carpet it and it will look brand new. its built useing 3/4" MDF and all joints are glue joints using liquid nails.
