IF I was to take 2 subs and mount them facing inward into a a piece of PVC pipe, then run another piece of pvc out of the middle of it, like a port...what would it sound like? basically it would be a T with each sub pointing inward at each end of the top of the T and the long part of the T being a port ....would it work? Also, supposing it would work, would I need to put a baffle in the middle of the top part of the T to keep the subs from cancelling each other out, or would they work OK with everything open?

maybe, but I am talking about making it out of pvc pipe with the subs at each end of the top of the T, pointing toward the center. Is that like a bandpass box?

you will have to have one playing in reverse phase.

i believe it is called an isobaric chamber.

why would one have to be reverse phaze? Cant they both hit inward at the same time? and would it sound loud? maybe its something I will just have to try and let everyone know how it works out.

no. where would the air go?????

subs move air. and there is only so much air in that tube.

i don't think you want your subs motor trying to compress air all day.

while one hits into the tube....the other will play out, so the pressure inside the tube doesn't push on one or the other it flows.:-)

my bad. you will have a port.

then it is like bandpass.

if it wasn't, then it is like an isobaric i believe.
