I Just Recently Purchased 2' 10 Alpine Type S Subs. I have just started putting in car audio products. And I would appreciate you opinion on the Audiobahn A8005DN, also I have a downfire ported box if that makes any difference

i'd get a better amp, one that does 600-800wrms, depending on the subs vc.

audiobahn amps arent that bad they are actually good budget amps. Depending on the voice coil you could either get the audiobahn a8000t or a8002t they cost around 130 on ebay and are a good amp.

I picked up a a8002v on ebay for $140 shipped. Its a great amp, and for that price it cant be beat.

That will push them decently if you wire it at 2 ohms. I would rather have that than audiobahn.
