Please help i want to hookup a car amp inside my house

I have a visonik car amp and want to hook it up inside it is 400w i think 2 channel amp and i want to know where to get a power supply, were to get it, and how to hook it up i know how to hook it up to my radio but i dont know how to plug it in. I need the cheapest solution becuase i have no money becuase i spent it on my subwoofers.anything will help. i am only 13 so i need help in simple terms. thankyou for anyhelp.

u can buy a dc power supply at radio shack, there are about 3 to choose from, i got a 25 amp dc power supply for about 100 dollar. it work pretty great.

Or just use a car battery, but u will need to charge it over and over

Car batteries in the house are an awful idea for obvious reasons. Draining them like that will also cause permanent damage so it wouldn't work anyway.

is there a cheaper way to do that? i wanted a second amp inside becuase ny subs cane with it and i figured it woulb be cheaper to do this tyan buy an amp. A cheaper soloution would be nice, because im only thirteen and dont have a job.

or just buy a plate amp and plug it into the wall.. probably end up spending just as much money

yeah, with a car battery there wont be enough voltage so youll clip your speakers, and those converters only put out like 30 amps so you cant run much power off em, if you ask me the best idea is the alternator thing or a plate amp
