Silver Member Username: StnorrisEldridge, IA US Post Number: 1000 Registered: Apr-06 | the amp doesnt pick up the sub. the sub picks up the power from the amp. the rockfords will work just as good as the pioneers. what are the specs for the amp? make sure it can be wired right and get good power out of it. |

The amp doesnt pick up a sub. the sub picks up the amp. what are the specs for the amp first off, before you get the wrong voice coil configs, and the amp doesnt work!! haha |

Gold Member Username: StnorrisEldridge, IA US Post Number: 1011 Registered: Apr-06 | lol u have to know the subs impedance, before you get it. lollllllllllll. what are the specs on that amp!! haha. if your going to get 2 of those pioneers that are dual 4 ohm voice coil, they are gunna wire to 1 ohm. that 2 channel amp most likely wont be 1 ohm stable, so those subs wont WORK!!!!!! |

Gold Member Username: StnorrisEldridge, IA US Post Number: 1026 Registered: Apr-06 | no those arent. thats what 1 of them can wire to. those pioneers up there are dual 4 ohm. 1 of them can wire to 2 or 8 ohms. 2 of them would wire to 1 or 4 ohms. you have to get 2 dual 2 ohms for that amp to work at all. haha. it prolly does 600watts x 2 @ 2 ohms, and thats its max. lol. |
