i have 2 alpine type r's powered by an infinity amp, while my friend has 2 rockford fosgate punch stage 1's with a no name amp and hits so much harder than mine. should this be right? im pretty upset because he spent about half as much as me
arent p1s like 150rms each, and type rs are 500rms, and a lot better sub. the type r should hit A TON harder, as long as you have a good box with the right specs and are powering them right.
ok i drive a mercury sable, he drives a pontiac sunfire. i built a sealed box to the recommended specs of alpine. his amp is a lot bigger than mine, but mine is at 864wrms
see people do underestimate the p1s they arent that bad for the $$ i was bumpin em in a sealed box that i had layin around and they did some damage for only beeing on about 500 watts
