hi there i have been debating on a system for sometime and i just don't want to get ripped off in loudness i was originally sticking with one 12" type R ported box with alpine mrp m650 amp with pioneer 5800mp but now im thinking for the same cost in subwoofer get 2 12" type S's. i was wondering if there would be a big difference in thump between the two setups, and am wishing you to advise me to a decision. for space i think i could pull off the two 12s ported so that shouldn't be a problem.

thanks.

i'd stick with a single type R. those type S's sound like crap man.

If your even thinking of getting the Type S, don't type Es are basically the same thing. Get Type R's but if your gonna get lower model skip the S cause there is no real difference IMO
