I went to walmart today and found some 14 gauge speaker wire and it seemed of pretty high quality but im not too sure. Is all speaker wire pretty much the same or what cuz some wire cost like $65 for 100ft and the wire i bought was $24 for 100 ft. both 14 gauge and 100% oxygen free and both made if 100% copper. WTF is the difference?
If it's just being used to carry the signal though, it REALLY doesn't matter...The human ear isn't adept enough to even pick up the minimal distortion that MAY (most likely not) be caused.
