Hey guys, i'm not sure if it's the right term, but i read about car resonance. Saying that the car is like 43hz and if u wan't a max sound level you should tune your box at that amount of hz... Anyone know what i'm talking about? If so, is there a site that says where i can find for a 2001 ford ranger?

every car is different. not all cars are 43hz. you gotta play around with a db meter and various freq test tone to determine which freq your car peaks at.

Jeff, i did an install in a 2000 ranger awhile back...it liked 53-55hz for SPL, but it was an extended cab.

hit me w/ an email and i'll help you out w/ a box design for your ranger. tell me what amps and sub(s) you have.
