ok so I just moved to oklahoma city a little while ago and I don't know any good audio shops in the area. I checked out one near my place and they quoted me at $250 for a ported box for two 10" l7's
Isn't that a bit high? Plus i'm not even sure how good they are. but I definitely do not have the time or the tools to do it on my own

Anyone know of a good place I can check out?

Also, I was looking around at box designs and i'm interested JL's ported design. You think if i had them build me one of these http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/1110/jlportedboxdesignjt7.jpg for two l7's it would sound good? Or is that just a silly idea....

$250 is a normal price for a custom built box. Why not build it yourself?

Maybe we should give him some alternatives to Kicker Solobaric series woofers too?

oh yea sorry i read that before, then i posted like 3 hours later. woops.

if you can somehow spread the time out, and build the box over like 2 weeks it would save tons of money. the only tools u would need is possibly a jigsaw, for cutting the holes, and an electric drill. home depot will cut all ur wood for you, and you can get enough wood for 2 12s, for only 22 dollars.
