Ok, well when I started my SUV today, my amp didn't power on. First thing I did was check my REM to make sure it was still connected. Still was... Next I checked my fuses on the amp, fuse box, and under the hood. None were blown. Is it possible that my amp could have blown?

Well it was working fine all day yesterday, I don't mess with the gains or anything and its at about 1/3. Grrr...my amp is so frustrating! It's not like anything has changed within the past 24 hours of me using it!

so ur rem wire is still connected into the amp? are u sure the rem wire is connected at the other end? in your HU, or in ur fuse box? check that.

then if you have somethin to test the power, make sure ur getting power on the amps end of the power wire.

make sure ur ground is secure.

If you have this many problems, you should invest in a multi meter. Find out if the amp has power goining to it and if the rem is ok. aslo recheck all wiring.

^^^lol, ya I should. My REM is connected into the fuse box. I don't know how to connect it from the HU but, i'd like to know how. Ive connected the REM to a couple different fuses and it still didn't turn on so it can't be that. My ground is still secure also. I made sure. I think overall I might just switch to a SoundStream amp for my subs and then get another SoundStream amp for my speakers. I just wish I knew what the heck is wrong with my amp!

Nope, nothing is fried or anything. Stupid amp. Anyone know where I can get one of those power tester thingys that let you see if theres current going throught the wires at a cheap price?

I wont go that low on amps...

Ok, well I figured out my problem. It's my REM. There was a break in the line so I just reattached it and it worked! I wonder how it got cut though???
