Dimensions for the a8000t

ive looked at a few different places and seen different results. anyone with expierence know exactly how big one of these are? i have limited space to mount the amp next to my converter so i might have to go with a different amp for my treo. thanks in advance

THANK YOU, muddy. *sigh* the amp is too big, does anyone have a suggestion other than the brutus for a compact amp to power a treo tsx 10" dual 4 ohm?

i can't find any that are the same either. lol

your best bet would be to email A-bahn's tech dept. and they will tell you.

these amps put out closer to 600wRMS, incase you were unaware.:-)

now that would fit. i cant go over 10 inches in one direction due to the height of my radio.......where did each of you get those figures from?

the a8000t's muddy?? they put out 810 watts

heres another thing thats gotten me confused, ive seen the a8000V and the a8000T out there. the "V" is the bigger one, is there a difference? or is the 8000T an older model or something?

the a8000t is a class a/b amp.
it has 2 30 amp fuses...which is closer to 600wRMS than it will EVER be to 810. lol but w/e

i am not sure about the V

i got one from bizrate and one form sonicelectronix

yeah the a8000t is last years and the a8000v is this years.

What about the DUB4001 it says its a 800 watt class a/b mono amp..and less expensive than the a8000t. what is the difference?

Isaac has tested that line of amplifiers...All put out the power listed. Of course, not being JL Audio /series, the voltage plays the important factor.

there in lies the problem....not everybody's charging system runs at 14.4V:-) lol

chit i know mine doesnt.....13.7 is the highest iv seen an i looked yesterday.....its 11.8 off it was 13.2 before that battery is dead......
