I was at my car audio shop yesterday and proposed my idea which has been planned for 3-4 months now to the owner only to find out that I cant put a wall in my civic... I wanted to do 4 15"'s but now it looks like im going back to the boring bangin in the trunk. Probably going with 1 12" or 15" SSX... any other recommendations?

supposedly u dont hear or feel the bass that well because there isnt enough space and appearantly u have to be a certain distance from the woofer to get the most out of it

the SSX's will sound better
they are a street bass subwoofer

the MT's are designed for tone bursts.

althought Isaac tweaked one out to sound halfway decent.

don't know what your budget is, but hopefully i'll be getting 2 3512's soon and i plan to run each off either a kicker 1500.1 or a memphis 1500.1, or i might go cheap and get a nine.1 or kicker 1200.1, not sure though.

you have to call re and find out your local re dealer. i was told the msrp on a 12" xxx is $1,299, but the only re dealer in ct. says he'll sell them for $800.

the only Cerwin Vega Stroker to ever sound good is the one with the orange cap. Looks like this

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1942

but not this modile. It was made in the later 90's area. My buddy had one 18" in the back of his honda civic and was running 2 Kicker 1500.1d off it and damn was that one 18 a hell of a subwoofer. When i lived in West Virginia, (lol, dont believe the stereotypes about them West Virginians, lol) but anyways...We'd have crazy @ss parties in the Strip Mines and this Sub would be our DJ for the night. You could here this thing from like half a mile away. I wish i could get my hands on one. But from what i've heard the new strokers are a total let down from what they use to be and considering the price has gone up, i would never buy one. thats my opinion. go with the DD (think it was the 9915 series) cant remember, just heard them for the first time 3 days ago and man. That subwoofer can move like a champ. well good luck on the wall, and remember you can do anything you wanna do with the right amount of time and the Cream aka THE MONEY. Cause im rich B!tch. lol. jk
