no one answered me in the head unit section so i'll try posting it here.

which HU would you reccomend out of these?

Eclipse... they make the best most powerful headunits on the market, the thing that unit can do is ridiculous

dont take the kenwood. but the clarion is really nice. i have one....

i would take the pioneer premier ones, before all them, because of the design and looks.

i've heard that high voltage preouts are good but what exactly do they improve. that eclipse has an 8v preout!

get alipnes or eclipse since those have the same components inside and out from the chassis, intenals components, remote and cables,

find the cheapest alpine or eclipse.

pioneers from my expirience i will not buy them since they are eclipse/alpines wanna be's u can look them in the back they are tryin to copy alpines design

chauncey, what did you like about the HU? i found one for 250.00 and i was looking at its features and it looks great for the money. i like the memory card feature.

also i have heard that jvc is kind of a mediocre company.

Like every company...they have good and bad.....

anywho....it has this thing called a DiAS...and it makes everything sound 10x better....he played the same cd...in two diffrent hu's....that JVC and some Panasonic MXE not sure on the model....

and the JVC just killed the Panasonic....it wasent even close..

the alpines have parametric and regular croosovers,time aligment, outboard dc-dc converter,plus u can tune your system on your computer

speaking of the parametric eq's... what amps and HU's have them besides jl audioo amps
