I bartered a set of used tires for a sealed box with set of 12" Punch P2's and a 500W Jensen XA 2125. I also replaced my front door speakers with 6 1/2" Kenwood Excelon. The guy that installed wired it for 2 channel and adjusted it. He really didn't explain how I could tweek it for my taste, other than turn the "level dial" down if it hits to hard. I don't listen to hip hop, mainly older rock and roll (70's-80's) and could use a little advice on tweeking it.

The amp has four adjustments. Bass, L- CHX, R-CHX, and Level.

My previous set up in a 2 door Yukon was adjusted right for my listening taste. I could adjust the HU to make it feel like a sharp punch in the back instead of the long vibration I'm getting now in a 4 door Yukon.

Forgive me for not speaking the lingo, I don't mess with this stuff much.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks for the reply!

Good ?, I dunno, maybe for left and right channel....

There are 4 adjusting knobs;
#1) Bass 0db-12db
#2) L-CHX 40hz-400hz
#3) R-CHX 40hz-400hz
#4) Level min-max

There is a 3 position switch;
LPF (selected position)
Full
HPF

if it's like my amp then try switching the switch to HPF or full

from what I've noticed on my amp
LPF seems to be lows(bass) where HPF are the highs and full puts out both of them

tho I'm no where near as experianced at this stuff as half the people on this board

for rock, you dont need to really change ur amp much, from a good setting that would be for rap.
