Will a AUDIOBAHN A8000T amp push a BUB1200 sub how it should.

A8000T = 800W RMS 2Ohms
BUB1200 = 700W RMS

I wont SPL more then SQ. What SPL should I hit with setup?

Also would 2 AUDIOBAHN AW1251T be loader than 1 DUB1200.

AUDIOBAHN AW1251T = 400RMS Efficiency: 91.1dB
DUB1200 = 700RMS Efficiency: 92.7dB

Thanks!

If I am correct...no, the a8000t is 800w rms@2ohms
the dub is only SVC so would only show 4ohms AND would only pull probably 400 watts. Also Dub is a Wal-Mart crap brand. You want something that will sound good with the Audiobahn a8000t, try hooking up 2 Ascendant Audio 10 inch Assassins(like my next system will be). as to the audiobahn sub...no, audiobahn makes pretty good amps, but not so good on subs.

Im not sure. how much are you paying for it? It'll prolly sound like any audiobahn you buy and get pretty loud w/ not much SQ. I would say the 2 AW1251T would be louder, but if they are Dual 4ohm u will have to run your amp at 4 or 1 ohms, therefore you will only get 400 watts to the pair at 4ohm, or you could get close to 1200 at 1ohm, but most ppl say that the A8000T isnt 1ohm stable, but I've seen someone use it for weeks at 1ohm and no problems. But if your not going to run the amp at 1ohm, then the DUB1200 would be the loudest of those 2.

I think I will go with 2 AW1251T. I'm just afraid of the amp will overheat at 1Ohm. If someone could confirm this amp is fine at 1Ohm I'll buy it.

I'm getting the 2 subs and amp brand new for $220. I have a really nice Pioneer deck already. Like I said I won't lots of SPL. But I don't think I can beat this price. I'm open to ideas. Should I use a big small ported or sealed box for these?

Thanks

you could geta A8002T and run each channel at 2ohm and get 400 to each sub. I have hooked the A8000T up to a Lanzar opti1232d. It is a Dual 2ohm sub and it was being ran at 1ohm for several weeks before the amp was traded in for a Lanzar opti2000D. It got hott, but never shut off or blew fuses, when he got his second sub, he tried the amp at .5 ohm, it played threw most of teh C-Murder song and then shut off. He took teh fuse out and put it back in and it dint last very long before the fuse blew. If you wanna be safe about it get the A8002T to the 2 Aw1251T.
