My friend is sellin his system for $400. it is 2 12" type R's and a 2 channel hifonics amp. It makes his seats move pretty good but that was in his sedan. I have a suv. would it sound pretty good? i would build a ported box for it. Good deal or what?

what model amp is it? I would say it would sound pretty damn sweet in an SUV. Everything gets louder in an SUV and well yeah I would get it.

you can get 2 new type rs on ebay for 200 and if the amp is more than 200 new than yes its an ok deal.

matters what amp it is. if its the 1000rms brutus, that amp is underrated, and only does like 800rms. u might need a better amp. and i dont think those amps are worth 200, even if thats how much one is on ebay.

I would say it is a good deal. It's not the best idea to mess with ebay. the type r's msrp is about 200$ for one, so if you get 2 for lets say 200$ and then that amp which moves the subs and seats pretty good for 200$ then you cant go wrong for only 400$ plus you wont deal with shipping costs or troubles or tax. as long as the subs work perfectly and so does the amp, I would say go for it.

ebay is great as long as you buy from reputible stores and dont take any chances. personally i would say its a pretty good deal, if your getting the box with the subs and the amp. if not id say a weak deal at best.
