Blown fuses

i have a kicker zr120 and every time i turn it up very loud it blows a fuse what could cause this i have checked my power and ground a hundred times thanks

I "had" that same amp, mine also did the same thing yours is doing. Then one day it just quit.
I never liked it because it got sooo hott!! I guess it just was hitting it thermal temp., but someone eles could prove me wrong.

kicker amps are very nice and shouldnt get really hott. what kind of wiring do you got (awg) and how big of a fuse?

what fuse is blowing the one in the amp or the one on your power wire. im not familiure witht he specs on that amp so how many rms are you running, becasue 8 guage wire is pretty thin

Up ur wire to 4gauge never starve your amp for power. Knuckoncepts.

8 awg is fine. hes only runnin 180 watts!!

dont step up to 4 awg unless ur goin to power 600 + watts IMO

does that amp have one 30a fuse? or two?

thats the amp, not every much power. what are you runnin with this amp??

Do you have any wires that r close enough to touch or just loose..especially when you turn it loud and start getting vibrations? Thermal problems SHOULDN'T cause a fuse to blow, it should just send the amp into thermal protection...and what bassman said-I'd check my ground to make sure it was secure.
