Gold Member Username: RedlinerWilmington, Ma Post Number: 2092 Registered: Jun-05 | okay so lilrob 230 a piece thats 460 + your 300 for a cd player so were up to 760 without a amp he still needs a ho alt do to pushing 1000 watts which a 1000 watt amp will be pricy prob 300 bucks then a ho alt i dont know where you get them from but a good one costs more than 200 more like 300-400 depending on size. Then he also needs wire and a box even if he builds a box its still gonna be about 50 and wires close to 80 so lets add this up 460(subs) 300(hu) 300(amp) 300(ho alt) 50(box if he builds if not 150 or more) 80(wire) comes out to 1490 even if he went with your 200 alt its stil way ova so throw that out the window. |

A loud system to me consists of a system that can get loud but retain all the music. I would get this HU-Alpine or Pioneer Speaker- CDT CL series (keep the rears but replace the fronts) Amps a two amp(100x2) and a mono amp(300-400rms) Sub- Jl 12w3v3 Upgrade your stock battery to a Optima and if possibly upgrade your big 3 wires. No need for a HO alty for a small system like that. its not the loudest system but for under 1k thats a pretty good ssetup and can lead well to upgrading. |
